Very well thought out property, 3 night stay with 2 kids sharing the main bedroom and me on sofa bed ( could do a little more padding on sofa bed mattress) . The kitchen is perfect for small cooking and well stocked. Very clean all around. Good power in showers, pool and gardens are lovely. Great location , 5 min from beaches,super convenient. Lovely owners. Definitely worth a return trip when it's a bit warmer.

What a magical place to stay. The hosts have thought of everything and could not do enough. Excellent for children and pets to ensure a perfect stay for all the family. Beautiful, peaceful and so close to the town of Cromer. We WILL be coming back. Thank you for everything. Ben and Family xx

We stayed for a week on the Orpington apartment. It was elegant in its furnishing but too cramped to warrant the description of luxury. The bed was comfortable and the 4 posters came in useful to air the towels over. The kitchen provision was so cramped that the electric cables from the kettle and double electric ring were always a priority to me as the washing up drainer was right infront. There was no dishwasher or even a shared washer drier in the communal areas. The bathroom was oversized and out of date and the radiator was on only for a very short time each day. The new owners must update the provision and clear the duckpond and get its eco-balance right.

Amazing, clean and comfortable apartment, great heated pool and secure BBQ area we could spend out with our dogs. Friendly hosts and pease and quiet, but close distance from charming Holt village and Cromer seaside with amazing seafood restaurants. Loving the place.

We occupied the Saxony 2-person studio for 2 nights in early November. It was comfortable & perfect, with everything you might need, and a huge shower room. For a stay of a week or more you would probably wish for a bigger room, but I have no doubt that other larger accommodation on site would also be very comfortable.

The majority of the reviews here are from when this was a B&B - it's important to note that it has recently changed hands and no longer offers breakfast, so travellers should be aware of this! The hotel is well-located for Cromer, Holt, Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast, and a lot of beautiful beach and countryside around the area. Sheringham and Cromer are within walking distance if you don't mind a 30-40 minute walk. It was fairly easy to find, but the drive can be missed on the first pass if it's dark! Our self-catering annexe was comfortable and reasonably well-equipped. We only catered for ourselves for breakfasts, so we just used the kettle and toaster, but there was also a two-ring plug-in electric hob, and a microwave that I believe also functioned as a convection oven. There was a small seating area and a good-sized bed - maybe king size? The bed was firm but comfortable, and the room was a good temperature. We slept with the windows open, and there was some noise from cars coming and going and people passing the window, but this never went on late into the night. There was also quite a lot of noise from the corridor in the late morning and early evening - people coming and going were very clearly audible in our room. An additional door into the main area of our room might have helped a lot. There was a TV, but it wasn't a smart TV, so anyone wanting to use streaming services should take their own devices. The wifi was excellent, very fast and easy to connect. The bathroom was spacious, the shower pressure excellent. Shower gel was provided but no shampoo or conditioner. The bathroom was generally clean, but some of the grouting could benefit from a scrub, and there was some mould on the ceiling. But nothing that really detracted from the experience. The room had net curtains and curtains, but additional blinds would have been very useful. The sunlight coming into the room in the morning was very bright even through the curtains, and woke me very early every morning. I'd recommend packing a sleep mask if you are easily woken by light. The room had a slight damp smell, and the décor was slightly dated - I don't know if the new owners plan to update the rooms, and perhaps haven't started yet. There were also quite a lot of "instructions" around the room - three separate signs around the toilet informing us what we can and can't flush (surely one nice, clear sign would be enough?), signs telling us to clean down the shower, a note asking us to strip the bed and wash and put away our crockery. Some of it justifiable, some of it temporary during the pandemic... but the volume of instructions came across as a little bit much. None of the above would stop me staying here again, but for a property marketed as "luxury holiday lets", I'd have expected a few more of the issues to be resolved.

We always have such a lovely time here. Rooms are lovely very clean and furnishings beautiful. Caroline and James are so welcoming and the cake and breakfasts are superb. Would give them more stars! Of course what we also really love is seeing and feeding the ducks from our own little balcony overlooking the lake and wonderful view! The whole experience of staying at The Eiders is really special, we love it - Margaret and Peter.

Beautiful place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights and would love to come back. Owners were so incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was comfortable and far enough back from the main road to not hear the cars. Cooked breakfast was delicious and great vegetarian options which is a huge plus for us!!

Owner is lovely - plenty of info to be had about local restaurants places to see etc - welcomed with tea coffee and cake on the patio by the pond ! Room was clean and quite with a shower room. If weather is OK there is a pool at the back with loungers and umbrellas ! Car parking available on site too - just got to get you eye in as to which is the entrance - small well lit board at night - but hard in the day !

A comfortable, clean and fairly luxurious B&B. Our double room was well equipped with a well-proportioned en suite, conveniences such as a fridge and kettle, plus a comfortable bed. Highlights were the warm and friendly welcome from the hosts and great breakfast that included fresh fruit and a good fry up.
