Extremely overpriced. We were very disappointed, this has the potential to be a very nice place as it has an idyllic setting but it is in dire need of a deep clean and serious updating. The pool area smells of sewage and was dirty, as were …

Had a lovely time. Stayed in sycamore suite. Meals were great. Especially dinner and breakfast. Staff were great nothing was to much trouble. Had tea and scones on arrival. My husband had a massage with Sarah. A lovely lady. A lovely place for a break so peaceful. Many thanks to everybody. We will be back again as enjoyed it so much xxx

We were here for a Christmas break and had two rooms (Walnut - a suite and Sycamore) both were reasonably large.
Our room Walnut had a good size sitting room with a table and chairs comfortable settee with a good size tv with sky.
A separate bedroom with a small TV and sky. Bathroom with large bath and shower.
Sycamore is a single room but also with large TV and sky.
Food is traditional with generous portions.
The service is friendly and efficient.

Fabulous location staffed by friendly and helpful staff. Their kitchen is very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the needs of people requiring gluten free food. Food served up was delicious and varied.

We had a nice stay at Felbrigg Lodge but it was over-priced for the experience we had.
The suite we stayed in was well furnished but looked tired and a number of things weren’t right. Two lights weren’t working, the shower leaked, wallpaper was peeling off in places, none of the curtains were hanging properly on the rails (many curtain rings missed) and the clothes rail in the cupboard was held up by being taped to shelf brackets. We also wondered how well it was serviced/cleaned as there was no hand soap on arrival, dirty marks on some of the doors, blinds were dusty and we found a champagne cork on the floor from a previous occupant. The towel rail in the bathroom was permanently on very hot despite it being a warm day and it couldn’t be adjusted. There was no hairdryer in the room which again we would have expected for what we paid.
We were also disappointed with some of the communication. Some things on the website, and many of the signs/notes on site, were written in a sharp and negative tone making you feel wary of doing the wrong thing. The few staff we met were generally very friendly.
Overall it was a lovely stay but we expected a lot more attention to detail for the amount we paid.

The hotel was great. I stayed in the Walnut suite, with a comfy bed, large bathroom, and a separate room I used for doing some work in.||I had spent a while looking for somewhere quiet in the area, and this was definitely a good choice. I …

Our stay at Felbrigg Lodge during the first week in September was absolutely great. The room was beautiful light and airy with it being upstairs we could have the windows open day and night with the heat. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had to ask on two occasions for something not on the menu and was not disappointed. The Lodge is in quite an isolated area but this suits us. A short walk away is the back entrance to Felbrigg Hall a lovely 1hr steady walk through the woods. Also a short car ride to Sherringham or Cromer. Dog friendly. Just love it peace and quite and hardly any internet signal.!

Lovely peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed it very much. The hot tub was great, as was the indoor swimming pool. Great English breakfast, dinner's were lovely too...
